Which areas of the Country do you recruit in?

Because many of our clients are large National Hospitality Groups we provide a UK wide service for them recruiting as far a field as Scotland to Cornwall We currently work regularly with a client base of around 7 different Hospitality clients within the licensed retail sector. Our clients are a range of Bar, Pub, Restaurant and Hotel companies for whom we search for operational managers.

What type of roles do Canvin Brown recruit for?

In the main we recruit for General Managers for our clients but given our expertise in the search field we are able to successfully search for more Junior Managerial positions too.

Are Canvin Brown a recruitment agency?

No, we are a Hospitality Search & Recruitment consultancy hence our name. Our main focus is on providing a local Search for every vacancy we take on although our expanding Candidate database allows us to find talented individuals from previous assignments.

How do you work?

We passionately believe in the pursuit of Quality over Quantity. We don't believe that we can provide the right service for our clients and indeed our candidates unless we met them all personally prior to short listing for one of our Hospitality vacancies. We support all of our candidate submissions with a personalised report about our candidate and why we believe they are the right fit for the job.

How many different vacancies do you handle at any time?

This will vary based on the time of the year. At any time we are handling a range of Operational Manager roles in the Pub, Bar, Restaurant, Catering and Hotel sector on a national basis. Please check our current vacancies page for a selection of some of our current vacancies.

Do you take up references on behalf of your clients?

We can and do provide a full recruitment service to our hospitality clients which includes reference checking.
